Business North Harbour has been made aware of a consent application before Auckland Council which is non-complying under the current planning rules. This application proposes the development of 86 apartments (65 x 1-2 bed, 19 x 3 bed), commercial (office and retail) space which could accommodate around 170-225 people and a café. The total amount of car-parking proposed for both residential and commercial is only 86 spaces.
Business North Harbour would like your feedback as to whether the proposed car-parking associated with this development is of concern to you, especially as the current demands for on-street parking from local business and employees, Constellation Drive Park and Ride commuters, exceeds supply.
We encourage you to have your say as this development is likely to cause pressure on parking and it will generate more traffic within Parkway Drive and Sunset Road.
