Purple Ink Business North harbour
Business Excellence Awards 2023

Ehara taku toa, he takitahi, he toa takitini!

'My success should not be bestowed onto me alone, as it was not individual success but success of a collective.'

The Purple Ink BNH Business Excellence Awards aim to honour the remarkable achievements of our respected members of the BNH Business Improvement District, as we shine a spotlight on our dynamic and flourishing business community.

The awards are a platform for businesses of all shapes and sizes, from fledgling start-ups to seasoned veterans, to reflect on their accomplishments and gain recognition for their hard work and dedication. Whether a business has been in the game for a mere 2 months or 22 years, this is a chance to showcase achievement and demonstrate our collective vision for a thriving and prosperous future for the North Harbour Business Improvement District (BID).

The finalists and winners will be celebrated at a Gala Event on Friday 17th November 2023, but this event is not just about the glitz and glamour, it is an opportunity to celebrate the resilience, innovation and determination of our blossoming local business community.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to showcase your business and be part of an unforgettable evening of celebration and recognition.

Entry to the awards is free.

Judging Process

We strongly encourage you to complete as many sections as possible on your entry form, to give the judges a good overview of your business. At the time of judging, the judges will also consider your entry for additional award categories as they deem appropriate.

At all stages, judges score independently of each other and are required immediately to declare any conflict of interest. BNH will exclude any judge with conflicts of interest from judging these categories.

During Stage one, a shortlist of  finalists is identified.

During Stage two, short listed entries will be contacted and will be interviewed in person or online for final judging. During this stage, other elements such as Health and Safety / Quality and Systems, Strategic Planning, Employee Engagement and/or People Management may also be evaluated. This is an informal process and is aimed to get to know you better.

A winner and runner up will be decided and will be announced, at the Purple Ink Business North Harbour Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner to be held on the 17th of November 2023. Each Finalist will receive two complimentary tickets to the event, for which additional tickets can be purchased.
