NZTA are scheduled to commence construction of the Constellation Bus Bridge, Wednesday 31 July.
The northern pier is the first of three piers to be constructed that forms the foundations of the Bus Bridge. The northern pier will be located at the corner of Constellation Drive/Constellation southbound offramp. The crew commences with bridge piling followed by column construction. Hours of work are typically Monday to Friday 7.00am to 6.00pm and up to 3.00pm on Saturdays. Some night work will be required and will be communicated to you closer to the time.
How will it affect you?
The work has been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum; however, there will be some noise, heavy machinery and trucks moving.
