A new shared use path will also be constructed giving future connections to Albany Highway and Oteha Valley Road.
What are they doing?
A variety of works will be undertaken on both sides of Constellation Drive as well as in the central median over the coming months and includes, but not limited to: Northern side – earthworks followed by bridge piling and retaining walls Central Median – Bridge piling and pier construction Southern side – Earthworks followed by drainage and bridge piling.
The majority of works will be carried out during the day; however, a number of tasks will be carried out at night as daytime traffic volumes are too high to work safely during the day. Notification will be sent prior to any night works.
Hours of work are typically Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm and up to 3pm on a Saturday.
How will it affect you?
The work has been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum, however nearby neighbours may notice noise and vibrations from the variety of machinery to be used.
