Kristin School
Kristin School is the result of a vision to build the best independent school in the area. An independent co-educational school of approximately 1700 students, from Kindergarten to Year 13, it was founded in 1973 by a group of North Shore parents. The school is non-denominational and welcomes students from all cultures. The school has small classes and a proven record of academic excellence. Specialist programmes are provided to gifted children and those with special needs. The first International Baccalaureate (IB) school in New Zealand, Kristin offer the IB programme as well as the New Zealand National Curriculum. Kristin offers not only an outstanding academic programme but an exciting curriculum both in and beyond the classroom, with a fine reputation for Performing Arts and significant success in Sports, ensuring the education of the whole person.
