Women in Leadership Mentoring Programme

Following months of planning with Massey University, Business North Harbour launched the Women In Leadership Mentoring Programme yesterday as everyone gathered at the new Harbour Hockey facility to better understand the initiative before setting off on their collaborative journeys over the next twelve months. The response to this unique opportunity has been excellent with fifteen female mentors volunteering to give up their time to support fifteen female mentees in their leadership development, as they all look to improve their capability in a safe and secure environment.

During the morning Dr. Patricia Bossons from Massey University took the mentors through their programme information before a shared lunch, at which mentors and mentees were introduced to start forming their relationships. After a very noisy lunch, due to the many exciting conversations that were taking place, the mentors returned to their businesses as the mentees took their turn to learn more about the programme.

This is the start of what we believe will be a useful and effective initiative which we intend to expand over the coming years.
