Kia ora tatou, 

The return to greater operational freedom under the Orange Setting of the NZ COVID-19 Protection Framework, scheduled for the end of December, is a welcome step in the right direction for many BNH members, although some believe the move could have come earlier. I sincerely hope that we can move swiftly into the Green Setting in 2022, without any setbacks and tightening of restrictions. This will provide businesses with the best opportunity to secure their sustainable economic future, as we all look to put the challenges of another very difficult year behind us.

I also ask members to please keep supporting and shopping local even though many of you will still be working from home. Our local fooderies and retailers will really value any further support that you can provide them in the lead up to Christmas.

Finally, the BNH office will be closed from 12 noon on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 and will re-open at 8.30 am on Monday 17th January 2022. On behalf of the Team at BNH, we hope that everyone stays safe and well and that you all enjoy a relaxing and restorative break.
