Hosking Reserve is a large public reserve located at 463 Dairy Flat Highway (SH 17), just north of Albany village. The site was purchased years ago with a long-term vision to develop it into a mixed use public open space.
The site contains pockets of regenerating forest and shrub land, along with areas of open pastoral land. There is huge potential and many opportunities for ecological restoration and community involvement in the reserve’s development.
Council’s Parks Team are keen to engage with the community and local businesses on its restoration and options for its development going forward.
