Vet Nurse Plus was first launched in 2005 to fill a gap in Veterinary Nurse training. We saw the need for Vet Nurse graduates to have a high level of practical skills – to be ready to work in a vet clinic on the day they graduate. We’ve developed our boutique, highly practical, outcome-based course from this ideal and using feedback and input from the veterinary teams who’ll be employing our students.
Today, Vet Nurse Plus is accreditated by NZQA, and our course is eligible under the NZ Student Loan scheme. We are a privately-owned training provider, with the support and backing of New Zealand’s largest veterinary group, Pet Doctors.
