Networking & Nibbles at Hyperbaric Health

Our latest *Networking & Nibbles* event at Hyperbaric Health, marked an exciting first as we introduced a new 4pm start time. The earlier kick-off enabled those who can’t stay later to pop in at the earlier time, and for those coming after work to still catch the event in full swing at 5pm.

Guests were welcomed into the unique setting of Hyperbaric Health, where the combination of innovative wellness technology and a warm, inviting space made for a memorable networking experience.

A standout feature of the afternoon was the delicious cocktails, crafted with Thunder Toffee Vodka! These quickly became a crowd favourite, adding a touch of indulgence and fun to the event as guests mingled and unwound, enjoying a thoughtful selection of nibbles.

A key highlight of the event was hearing from owner Samantha Winters, who shared the inspiration behind Hyperbaric Health and the journey since opening the clinic in October. She spoke passionately about her commitment to personalised care, explaining that her approach moves away from a “one-size-fits-all” model and instead focuses on treating individuals based on where they are, whether that’s in terms of injury, illness, time, or budget.

Sam also provided valuable insight into hyperbaric therapy, a field that is often misunderstood. She explained the important distinction between private hyperbaric clinics and hospital-based systems, reassuring guests about the strong safety profile of the technology used at Hyperbaric Health. Unlike traditional hospital “tank” systems, the clinic’s pods use oxygen concentration and controlled pressure as the key drivers of treatment.

By delivering oxygen at high concentration and applying pressure, the therapy works to drive oxygen into the plasma, effectively hyper-oxygenating the body. This process supports the body at a cellular level, which is why hyperbaric therapy can be applied to such a wide range of conditions, from recovery and injury support to overall wellness.

Since opening, the clinic has already seen some fantastic results, and Samantha shared her vision of positioning Hyperbaric Health at the forefront of this evolving industry. Operating within a largely unregulated space in New Zealand, the clinic stands out by holding two FDA certifications, something unique in the local market and maintaining a strong focus on safety, innovation, and quality care.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to not only learn more about this cutting-edge approach to health and wellbeing but also to strengthen connections within the Business North Harbour community. The combination of meaningful conversation, new insights, and a relaxed social atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable experience.

We look forward to hosting more *Networking & Nibbles* events in the future and continuing to create spaces where business, wellbeing, and community come together.
