NZTA has advised that night works are required to continue the widening works at Caribbean Drive and the SH1 Upper Harbour Highway/Constellation Drive north bound off-ramp.
- Sunday 13th, Tuesday 15th & Wednesday 16th September from 8pm to 5am on the corner of SH18/Upper Harbour Highway & Caribbean Drive. Temporary traffic management plans in place include access from Caribbean Drive to SH18/Upper Harbour Highway will be closed. Detours will be in place from the Meadowood/Barbados Drive roundabout. Access into Caribbean Drive from SH18/Upper Harbour Highway will remain open.
- Monday 14th September from 9pm to 5am on SH1 Upper Harbour Highway/Constellation Drive north bound off ramp. Temporary traffic management includes the SH1 Upper Harbour Highway/Constellation Drive northbound off-ramp closed with a detour in place.
Residents between the Caribbean Drive traffic lights and the Meadowood/Barbados Drive roundabout will be able to enter their properties via SH18/Upper Harbour Highway and exit only via Meadowood Barbados Drive roundabout. Please follow instructions from the onsite staff.
The work being performed includes placing noise wall panels, installing of underground services, placing of asphalt and installing roadside safe guardrail. Should any of the works be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances or weather, it will be carried out on the next available night.
