NZTA wishes to advise that scheduled nightworks are to occur from Sunday 27th February through to Thursday 3rd March 2022. Hours of work are typically between 8.00pm and 5.00am with the work being performed to include:
(i) The laying of asphalt along the Northern Busway between Rosedale Busway Bridge and Watercare Treatment Ponds.
(ii) The laying of asphalt in the SH1 Northern Motorway central median between SH1 to SH18 Underpass and Rosedale Road Motorway Bridge.
The work has been carefully planned to keep disruption to a minimum, however there will be some noise, heavy machinery and trucks moving. Road closures will be in place and are detailed below:
Monday 28th February: SH1 Northern Motorway fully closed southbound between Greville Road and Constellation Drive.
Tuesday 1st through to Thursday 3rd March: SH1 Northern Motorway open between Greville Road and Constellation Drive with lane restrictions in place.
