Upper Harbour Local Board Agreement 2021/2022

Source: Auckland’s Council Communication

The Upper Harbour Local Board received an exceptional level of feedback during this consultation, the majority of submitters supporting our key priorities for 2021/2022, with particularly strong support from the community to progress the delivery of the Scott Point Sustainable Sports Park.

The local board also consulted on a proposal to introduce a targeted rate to deliver a bus service in the Paremoremo area. While there was not a majority support for the proposal in its current form, it was clear that there is still appetite from the community to further investigate and undertake community engagement on delivering a bus service in Paremoremo.

Following consultation with members of the community across the region, the process to finalise the budget is now complete and the budget was adopted on 29 June, 2021.
