Who can be nominated for an award?
All business nominated must be physically located within the Business North Harbour or Takapuna Business Association BID’s. Nominations for individuals must either be employed by a business located within these areas, or demonstrate a very definite positive contribution to the area. The decision of the judges regarding eligibility will be final.
Can a Business enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter more than one category and submit multiple entries. However, a separate form must be completed for each entry or nomination, and each should be for a different nominee and/or category. If you are unsure which category to select, choose the one that best fits. Judges reserve the right to reassign entries if they believe another category is more suitable. Duplicate entries submitted by the same person will not be considered by the judging panel.
When should I apply?
Nominations are open from 1 July 2026 and must be submitted before the published deadline of 7 August 2026. Any extension to this deadline (at the sole discretion of the Judging Convenor) will be widely promoted online and via social media.
