Business connections, collaboration, and community were at the centre of the recent Business Table Top Expo hosted by Business North Harbour on the 14th of May 2026. The event brought together dozens of local businesses for an evening focused on visibility, relationship-building, and new opportunities across the North Harbour business community.

Held as a “Mini Expo” style event, the showcase featured 38 table holders representing a wide range of industries and services. From professional services and technology providers to hospitality, retail, and community organisations, businesses had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with potential clients, partners, and fellow local operators.
Opening the expo, Business North Harbour General Manager Kevin O’Leary introduced a fast-paced series of 20-second business introductions from each exhibitor. The quick-fire format giving every business a chance to share who they are, what they offer, and why attendees should connect with them during the evening.
Throughout the event, exhibitors promoted competitions, special offers, and exclusive deals while encouraging attendees to network and start new conversations. The format helped create a lively and engaging atmosphere, with businesses actively moving between tables, exchanging ideas, and discovering opportunities for collaboration.
Business After 5 events have become a key part of the North Harbour business calendar, designed to strengthen connections between local organisations in a relaxed and social setting. Business North Harbour describes the programme as an opportunity for members and guests to “connect, support, and inspire” one another through meaningful networking experiences.
Past showcase events have consistently attracted strong participation from local businesses, with exhibitors using the platform to raise awareness, generate leads, and build relationships within the wider business community.
The latest event once again highlighted the strength and diversity of North Harbour’s business sector, while reinforcing the value of in-person networking in an increasingly digital world. As conversations flowed across the room, the evening demonstrated how local business events continue to play an important role in helping organisations grow, collaborate, and support one another.
