The lockdown extension announced by the Prime Minister on Monday signals further hardship and challenges for many members, as Auckland continues to bear the brunt of Covid lockdowns compared to the rest of the country. I sincerely hope that the planned reductions in Alert Levels come to fruition without any further delays so that members can gradually increase their operational capacity before time runs out for some.
Business North Harbour (BNH) continues to provide as much up-to-date information as possible to enable members to access Government and other support available and I would encourage everyone who is eligible to take advantage of this support, whether it be financial or advisory. I applaud those members who are using their time in the current situation to work on their business. Some are looking to change their current business model, while others are reviewing and improving internal systems and processes or updating their websites. Whatever your individual ‘work-ons’ are I wish you every success.
