The Discover Auckland Travel Expo will be held on 14 November 2020 at Shed 10.
This event gives Auckland tourism operators the chance to engage with and sell directly to the Auckland public and visitors ahead of the summer season. Let’s remind Aucklanders of what’s in their backyard!
ATEED will be running a dedicated campaign on digital, social and radio channels to promote the event to entice Aucklanders to attend. On the same weekend, the Chocolate and Coffee Show is on at the Cloud so many of these people might pop across to visit as well – they normally have 2-3,000 people a day. The organisers of the Chocolate and Coffee Show will also promote the Expo.
ATEED will theme the space using the new ATEED domestic tourism campaign and by area/neighbourhood, so Waiheke Island would have a cluster of operators situated together, central city operators will be grouped together as would Great Barrier, Matakana Coast, West Auckland etc. Their Events programme will also be on show, detailing Summernova, AC 36 and the rest of the events on offer in Auckland this coming summer.
While entry is free for the public ATEED will need deals to entice locals and visitors to come out and book their staycation or experience, so please consider this when planning your attendance.
ATEED are trying to keep costs as low as possible so they will be providing a lot of the theming so you don’t have to. Registrations will close on Wednesday 21 October and spaces are limited.
